"Rollin Thunder" has passed both of his inspections for Traditional Ennoblement!!!!! He has also earned 50 points of 80 points required for him to become Ennobled with the ABGA. We are waiting on his first set of kids to start showing, earn 30 points and pass their Visual Inspections. We feel sure that this buck will be Ennobled later this year.
This is a powerful young full South African buck that we have purchased in a partnership along with D&K Boer Goats. We have always felt that "buck power" is essential to any successful breeding program. We feel that we have an outstanding set of herd bucks, but there is always room for one more. Sometimes like this one, it takes a day to or two to find that room. We live with the thought that buying the best ones when we find them is better than wishing that we had bought one when we had the opportunity. This young buck is certainly one of those bucks. He was bought site-unseen based on a friend's judgment. Rena Lynch called one day and said that she had found a buck that she thought we would like. That was enough for us. She made the purchase and brought the buck to us the next time that she was in our area. Rena's judgment was right. We loved this new buck.
He was kidded on February 8, 2004. He is a son of Ryals Topbrass (Ennobled) and (almost Ennobled) RRD P635, a daughter of RRD Remington (Ennobled). This makes him a full brother to (Ennobled) RRD Brass Shot. Brass Shot's kids sold well in the Show Stopper of 2006. "Thunder" was shown at the San Antonio Livestock Show and placed second in a class of twenty-five. He is extremely long bodied, deep sided, wide across the top, and stands squarely on a good set of feet and legs. He has that masculine look that the Ryals family is known for producing. He has beautiful breed character and a great disposition. Everyone who has seen this buck has commented on his length and the amount of natural muscling that he carries. We really appreciate the Ryals family for allowing us the opportunity to own this buck, and Rena Lynch for calling us when she found him.
His pedigree carries the genetics of Eggstreme (Ennobled), EGGS Ryals Magnum (Ennobled), Eggscellent (Ennobled), Ryals Topbrass (Ennobled), Shaka Zulu, RRD Nikita J34, RRD Remington (Ennobled). With a pedigree like this, we are expecting great things from this outstanding young buck.
This buck was kept very busy in during the Fall of 2006. He has been breeding does during the week and showing on the weekends. He has been named Senior Champion at seven different shows under seven different judges. The spring of 2007 was filled with "Thunder" kids. We are very pleased with this set of kids and can't wait to start showing them this fall. We feel sure that this set of kids will gather the 30 points required to place RRD S941 "Rollin Thunder" on the ABGA's List of Ennobled Animals.

Bosque Valley Sumi Strutt
"Strutt"
"Strutt" has passed both of his inspections for Traditional Ennoblement!!!!! He has also earned 51 points of 80 points required for him to become Ennobled with the ABGA. We are waiting on his first set of kids now. We feel sure that this buck will be Ennobled as soon as we can get kids on the ground and into the show ring..

"Strut" is the newest addition to our full South African traditional buck collection. We had the opportunity to watch this him develop from the time he was an embryo. Rena Lynch flushed his dam at the same time we did our partnership flush. We purchased this powerful young stud buck at the Bosque Valley Retirement Sale in July of 2007. He has length, depth of body, structural correctness, and beautiful breed character. He has a beautiful head and hornset that sits atop of a massive neck. He is well balanced and has the noble look that we would expect from a buck with his genetic package.
This young stud buck's sire is FSE 0035 Sumi, a son of HMR Sumo *Ennobled and JLF Frances *Ennobled. His dam is DSM 3B33, A daughter of DSM Billy Bob *Intl. Reserve National Champion Buck and RMR-SA-Kabuki. This genetic package makes "Strutt" a genetic full brother to Bosque Valley Sumi Kassandra, the 2004 Intl. National Champion and 14 times Grand Champion Doe.
We believe in the genetics found in Bosque Valley goats. With goats like; HMR Sumo *Ennobled, JLF Frances *Ennobled, Mojo Magic *Ennobled, Der Walt G49 Ennobled, Kaptein *Ennobled, PBL Frances, DSM Billy Bob *Intl. National Reserve Champion, RMR-SA-Kabuki, TND Leroy, DSM Kala *Ennobled, Turu *National Reserve Champion Buck, and LSBG Balson's Kijana *National Champion Doe in his pedigree we are expecting great things from this young stud buck.
We are excited about the opportunity to own "Strut". We have used this young stud buck with 2XL Recoil's Katy 30V, our National Reserve Champion Yearling Doe, in a flush in the fall of 2007. We are proud to say that this mating produced an outstanding set of kids in late January of 2008. We are expecting a second set of kids out of this flush in late May.
We will be offering semen on this and many of our other bucks through Superior Semen Works later this year.

Bosque Valley Sharif's Cody
"Cody"
(Deceased)
This buck's progeny has always drawn alot of attention in our joint production sales.
Sale after sale, he has been the sire of many of our top selling animals. He has
sired top selling progeny in our colored, traditional, South African, and show
wether breeding programs. Regardless to what program we use Cody in, he always
produces structurally correct, beautiful fronted, meat packed kids with
beautiful breed character.
Cody was a full South African paint buck that we purchased from Rena Lynch at Bosque Valley Boer Goats in Valley Mills, Texas. He brought some of the leading South African genetics into our breeding program.
This was a big-framed buck with eye appeal and beautiful colored markings. He was extremely long with a beautiful head and neck. These are characteristics that we saw this buck pass on to his offspring. We were always pleased with this buck and we are thankful to breeders like Jim and Lynn Farmer and Rena Lynch for making this type of genetics package available.
We listed this buck on our "Traditional Bucks" and our "Colored Bucks" pages because he fit into both categories. We at 2XL and D&K Boer Goats have used this buck on both types of does. He produced some outstanding traditional and colored kids for both of us. This buck worked well in either traditional or colored programs.
We had semen collected from Cody and have made arrangements with Superior Semen Works to market this semen for us. We feel that Cody was an outstanding buck that can be used in many different breeding programs. Not only did he offer the structural correctness and color pattern that everyone is looking for, but he offers a unique genetic package that has been proven time and time again in the show ring as well as in the pasture.

We would like to thank Judi Allison for allowing us to use these pictures on our website. Judi took these pictures on October 6, 2004.
The kids produced in the "Royal Flush" between 2XL Boer Goats and Bosque Valley Boer Goats have earned enough points in one show season gain this buck Ennobled status with the ABGA. Two of his daughters stood First and Second in the International's National Show in 2007. The doe that won the class came back to be named National Reserve Champion Yearling Doe.
This was a beautiful young South African buck that we purchased in the fall of 2004 from Rocking R Boer Goats. Once again, we went shopping for a young buck that we felt possessed a combination of the breed character and pedigree that we like to use in our breeding program. We found this young buck and we felt that he had it all. He had the size and scale that we were looking for. He was very correct on his feet and legs, he had length of body, breed character, and eye appeal that you could not overlook. These pictures were taken while he was running in the pasture with does and working.
His pedigree is packed with outstanding animals. He is a son of RRD Guage "Ennobled" who is out of RRD Remmington "Ennobled" and RRD Miss M27 "Ennobled". His dam should be Ennobled later in the near future. She is a daughter of Ryals Topbrass "Ennobled" and RRD Magnum's Beauty "Ennobled". This genetic package uses EGGS Ryals Magnum "Ennobled" as three of Recoil's four possible great grandsires. The other great grandsire is Ryal's Topbrass "Ennobled", who is a son of EGGS Ryals Magnum "Ennobled. Thus being the reason that we chose to name him, "Magnum's Recoil". He is a full brother to John and Jackie Edwards's buck, "POW" Ennobled, and Tanner Cude's buck, "Full Metal Jacket" Ennobled.
With his tight wound genetic package, we felt that the name "Magnum's Recoil" was fitting. We, like many others, believe that some of these extremely tight wound genetics are important and play a strong part in breeding programs where they are used in outcross situations. Magnum's genetics are wound tight in this young buck. We bred him to a small set of does in the fall or 2004, and the kids are outstanding. One of his daughters, Recoil's Reba, placed first in her class and was named Over All Champion Full Blood Doe at the 2005 East Texas State Fair. His daughters were the top three in their class and one other won her class at the same show.
Although we lost this powerful buck in the Spring of 2006, his genetics will play an important role in our breeding program. We used this buck in a partnership flush with Rena Lynch. His kids have hit the show road turning heads. His progeny have wrapped up titles such as First and Second Place in the 4-8 Month Old Doe Class, Junior Champion Doe, Overall Champion Doe, First in the 4-8 Month Old Buck Class, Junior Champion Buck, Overall Champion Buck, Best Pair of Doe Kids, Best Pair of Buck Kids, and Best Pair of Kids at the East Texas State Fair. They also won First in the 4-8 Month Old Doe Class, Junior Champion Doe, Third in the 4-8 Month Old Buck Class, Best Pair of Doe Kids, Best Pair of Buck Kids, and Best Pair of Kids under Coni Ross at the Piney Woods Boer Show in Lufkin, Texas. This same set of kids won First and Second in the 4-8 Month Old Doe Class, First and Second in the 4-8 Month Old Buck Class, Junior Champion and Junior Reserve Champion Bucks, Best Pair of Doe Kids, Best Pair of Buck Kids, and Best Pair of Kids under Jamie Mitchell at the Piney Woods Boer Show II in Lufkin, Texas, Junior Champion Doe and Overall Reserve Champion Doe under Lynn Farmer at the Cool Down in Baytown Show. This set of kids racked up 70 points in three shows towards the Ennoblement of their sire, RRD R863 Magnum's Recoil, and their dam.
This buck is now Ennobled with the ABGA. These points have been accumulated by four of his kids in one show season. All of these kids have passed their visual inspections for Ennoblement with the ABGA. We received Recoil's Ennoblement Certificate at the ABGA Nationals in West Monroe, LA. on June 15, 2007.
Two of his daughters were shown at the International's National Boer Goat Show in Duncan Oklahoma. They stood first and second in their class. The winner of the class came back to be named the National Reserve Champion Yearling Doe. We have been very pleased with this set of flush kids and are looking forward to another good year with them on our show string. We are also looking forward to the kids that this set of young goats will be producing here at 2XL later this year.

RRD 488 Magnum's Mr. Mpressive
"Mr. Mpressive"
In 2002, we discussed the need for a new young
traditional buck. This buck
would have to be the best little buck that we could find and afford. With this
in mind, we attended the "Show Stopper Sale" in July. While looking at all of the
wonderful young bucks offered in this sale, we selected the one that we felt was
the best buck for our does. Mr. Mpressive is a young buck that impressed us from the
beginning. We have always been impressed with the Ryals family both as people and Boer
goat breeders.
This buck is packed with all of the things that we look for in a young buck and his pedigree speaks for itself. His pedigree has nine ennobles in three generations. These are some of the most outstanding goats in the Boer goat industry and they have proven themselves time and time again.
We feel confident that crossing this powerful linebred buck with the outstanding does that we have chosen to use in our traditional program, will produce excellent offspring. How could anyone go wrong using the genetics of Ryals, Farmer's Stock Exchange, Silvergate Farms, High Mesa Ranch, and Silver Exchange Boer Goats? These are all breeders who are dedicated to producing outstanding Boer goats.
We had Mr. Mpressive collected as a yearling. We have sold this outstanding South African buck, but through artificial insemination we continue to use his genetics in our breeding program.
